Thank you Francis Norsworthy, BAVX Trainer, for this reflection:
Damme, Germany, nestled among stands of forest and fields of wheat, rye, and corn, is the home of Renate Wennekes’ Institute of Kinesiology.  Her goal is to build a center for BAVX at the Institute. On this 3rd visit to Germany, Bill conducted a 3-day ‘practitioners clinic’ followed by a 3-day Complete BAVX workshop. Renate, renowned world-wide for her expertise in child development from conception onward, translated Bill’s presentation. Following his explanation of visual priority (knowing what to look at next in order of priority according to the task), Renate shared on 3-D vision stating that 3-dimensional vision is developed through exposure to and experience with nature and the environment, ie: exploring, discovering, doing.  Her concern is that children are introduced to flat 2-D viewing too soon—paper (for drawing), TV, computer screen, books—placing the eye muscles under stress which may affect their development.
Bill met the challenge of a language barrier by requiring no words, letting the body’s other senses take on the task of learning.  And why not—aren’t students relentlessly bombarded with ‘teacher talk?’ What a relief and accomplishment to share the BAVX experience with German children and adults without the use of the spoken word. That doesn’t mean there was no sound between us—encouragement, laughter, surprise abounded.  We then experimented with blindness…
The experience was exhausting, exhilarating, and exquisite!
